I began my real estate career full time at a well known national brokerage as a team partner to my broker, which enabled me to work with buyers and sellers immediately and consistently, handling everything from first-time homebuyers, relocations, estate sales, luxury and distressed properties, leases, and commercial real estate. The drawback of being on a team is that most of your closed transactions are not in your name, but that is a small price to pay for the incredible mentorship and opportunity to convert buyers and sellers into clients and get them to the closing table. In my 3+ years in the business, I have been exposed to some of the most challenging market conditions and I could not imagine going at it alone. That broker from the national real estate organization who invited me on her team?... She's now the broker-owner of Haven Real Estate Collective (Teresa Trigas Pfefferle), so although I am now flying solo, we are still great friends and love collaborating!  

So what was I doing before real estate, you ask? I was a professional garden designer and horticulturist for over 20 years and co-owner of GreenCraft Associates (based in Hunterdon County) with my husband Rob, a licensed landscape architect. I earned (one of) my degree(s) in landscape architecture from Cook College, Rutgers University. My gardens can be found in multiple towns throughout New Jersey, NYC and Bucks County, PA. On a personal note, I have 2 amazing daughters and a goofball Staffordshire Terrier named Lola Moon (aka Ootie). I was born and raised in Monmouth County, graduated from Rollins College in FL (prior to Rutgers), lived in Corvallis, OR for several years and then moved back to NJ to attend Rutgers. My father was a publisher based in Red Bank, NJ, so I grew up working in the editorial department. I have a strong background in writing and graphic design as well!

I have always had a passion for Real Estate and only wish I got into it sooner! My career in gardening has allowed me access to some of the area’s most incredible homes and properties owned by very high-profile clients, from CEOs of major corporations, hedge fund managers, and even rock stars! Trust, honesty, confidentiality, knowledge, excellent management of client expectations, artistry, a strong desire to learn and grow in my career, and a solid work ethic are why these clients chose to work with me. I bring all of the same attributes to my role as a real estate agent in addition to confidence and strong negotiating skills, and that’s why I get results and 5-star reviews!
